5/17- US boat retail sales highest since 2006, strongest boating participation in 15 years
The NMMA’s 2011 Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract said that total sales for recreational boats, accessories and marine services increased last year to US$32.3bn, up 6% compared to the previous year. New power and sailboat saw their first yearly sales increase since 2006.
